FINISHED LEATHER

Full-grain leather is the highest quality finished leather, retaining the natural texture and imperfections of the animal hide. It's known for its durability.

Top-grain leather is slightly sanded to remove imperfections and then coated with a finish to create a more uniform appearance.

Also known as corrected leather, this type of leather has its surface imperfections buffed or sanded away, followed by an artificial grain pattern embossed onto it.

Split leather is derived from the lower layers of the hide after the top-grain portion is removed. It's usually thinner and less durable than full-grain or top-grain leather.
